I stopped by my local branch to get something from safe deposit box and was told to schedule an appointment for Tuesday at 11:00 AM because the lobby is closed for business. Other banks along with restaurants, stores and swimming pools are open so it makes no sense why my local branch is closed. Is this myopic local policy or is this a position taken for your entire banking system? What assurances can you provide me that my money is safe and that PNC is a viable financial institution? I am concerned along with my family and friends that PNC is having financial issues.
