Scopes everywhere in the industry shifting to short tube lengths between the ocular bells. Used to be six inches, now shorter. ON 30-06 or standard length actions the short tube scopes require an UGLY and unnecessary picatinny rail, or extension rings which often, still do not solve the problem. Also, the short tube scopes do not offer the flexibility to mount them with acceptable eye relief. We are not all shooting AR's or 223's. Do you have any 3x9, 2x7, 4x12, or 10X scopes with a tube length of 6 inches. Thank you. This year Vortex abandoned standard length scope tubes, following the Burris lead. Please answer positively that you have not joined the herd. Have old Buckmaster with 6 inch tube. A great scope. Thank you.
